Fast & Furious Hobbs And Shaw Cars

In addition to breaking several international records, Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw boasted a head-spinning $760 million in box office earnings. To celebrate the film’s success, our team of expert technicians is taking a look behind the curtain at our favorite Hobbs and Shaw cars.

Here is a list of the cars featured in Hobbs and Shaw:

  • McLaren 720S
  • 2020 Jeep Gladiator
  • Ford Bronco
  • 2017 Aston Martin DB11
  • 2005 Audi A4 B7
  • Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
  • 1966 Custom Peterbilt Semi Truck

Let’s start our list of magnificent motors off by answering this burning question: What kind of car does Shaw drive in Hobbs and Shaw? The McLaren 720 S.

Shaw (Jason Statham) drives the dark blue British supercar out of secret garages, through the streets and even underneath two opposing semi-trucks.

McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S can fly from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. Just as impressive, this machine can travel a quarter of a mile in 10.2 seconds, and it can reach a claimed top speed of 212 mph.

The iconic auto comes in standard, luxury and performance trim levels, as well as 37 choices of paint. The wheels, tires, brake calipers, seating, steering wheel, and air vents can all be customized.

How much is the McLaren in Hobbs and Shaw worth?

The McLaren 720 S boasts tons of features and upgrades that come with a price. Models begin at $284,745 and have been known to run for up to $750,000.

2020 Jeep Gladiator

Next on our list is what some lovingly call the “Hobbs and Shaw truck.”

When Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) takes Shaw to Samoa, he makes the trip in style. The scene features the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator: the first Jeep pickup since the XJ-based Comanche two-door was discontinued in 1992.

The pickup comes in four models — Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon — and starts at $33,545.

Like the McLaren, the possibilities for customization are endless. Tailor this Jeep to your personal style faster than you can say “furious” with options like:

  • 80 safety and security features
  • 10 paint colors
  • Four top styles
  • Two different wheel options

Ford Bronco

In the film’s opening scene, Hobbs hops into his brown Ford Bronco: a classic truck that he can trust with his life.

Compared to the rest of the automotive firepower in this movie, the humble Bronco might seem tame. But it’s earned a permanent spot in American car culture after appearing in countless Hollywood classics, including Speed, Charlie’s Angels, The Chase, Ocean’s Eleven and Terminator 2.

The fact that this is Hobbs’ go-to ride is a testament to this sturdy vehicle’s durability. If you’re looking to pick one up that hasn’t been around the block a few (thousand) times, you’re in luck: the Bronco has made a comeback.

1966 Custom Peterbilt Semi Truck

This tough-as-nails semi is made for long hauls on the highway. However, in the final minutes of Hobbs & Shaw, it goes off-road, handling dirt roads with ease during a heart-stopping car chase.

It probably doesn’t hurt that the film production heavily outfitted this particular 1966 model just for the flick. These impressive additions include huge tires, turbos jutting out on all sides and barely enough ground clearance to get by. Despite all that, the Hobbs & Shaw crew still managed to perform automotive acrobatics in a semi-truck. In fact, the movie’s climactic final stretch features jumps and drift turns galore.

...and a long list of others.
