Your Purchase power is an estimated amount based on factors such as your payment history with Klarna and your outstanding balance. The amount is not a guarantee and may change based on the store and payment option you choose.

How much am I eligible to spend?

Klarna evaluates your ability to pay by assessing available data to ensure responsible lending.
When a credit check is performed, we verify your identity using the details you provided and we look at information from your credit report to understand your financial behavior and evaluate your creditworthiness.
We will not perform a credit check when:

<li>Signing up to use Klarna</li>
<li>Downloading the app</li>
</ul>
We will perform a soft credit check when you:
<ul>
<li>Use Pay in 4</li>
<li>Use Pay in 30 days</li>
<li>Use Monthly financing</li>
<li>Apply for a Klarna Card</li>
<li>Soft credit checks do not affect your credit score and will not be visible to other lenders.</li>

Does Klarna perform a credit check and will this affect my credit score?

To be eligible to use Klarna you must:

<li>Be a resident of the United States or its territories.</li>
<li>Be at least eighteen years old or of legal age in your state of residence.</li>
<li>Have full legal capacity to enter into a contract.</li>
<li>Accurately provide your true and correct personal details.</li>
<li>Be able to receive security verification codes via text message.</li>
