'Tis the Season to Give: Caliber gifting vehicles to military families in time for the holidays

National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program to sponsor week-long, nationwide event

LEWISVILLE, TEXAS (December 2, 2021) Caliber Collision is gifting eight vehicles to veterans, active-duty service members, first responders and others in need of reliable transportation across the country in partnership with National Auto Body Council's Recycled Rides® program, all in one week. From California to New York and Wisconsin to Texas and more, Caliber seeks to spread holiday cheer and live its purpose of Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® through its 'Tis the Season to Give event December 6-12.

"Giving back to our hometown heroes during this special time of the year is the embodiment of what the holidays are all about. We are grateful to be able to put this event together for people who have made so many sacrifices for us," said Caliber President and CEO of Caliber, Mark Sanders. "Never before have we had an NABC Recycled Rides® event of this magnitude before, and we couldn't do it without our insurance partners, and of course, National Auto Body Council for creating this program."

As a part of Caliber's Restoring You community programs, each NABC Recycled Rides® vehicle gifted by Caliber is refurbished to near new condition using parts and supplies donated by Caliber and with teammates personal. Sanders emphasizes the program is life-changing for recipients. Nonprofits around the country nominate the recipients, and many do not have reliable, safe transportation to get to work, doctor appointments, school and more.

"The gift of an NABC Recycled Ride offers recipients stability in their day-to-day lives," said Sanders. "We aim to be a pillar in each community our centers operate in, and we will continue to give our resources and time to families and individuals in need as a part of our purpose, Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life®."
